NIWOT — Pack a Fork, a boutique tour company based in Colorado, is offering a six-day gourmet food and wine tour to Napa Valley, California, Sept. 25-30. Napa Harvest 2016: A Gourmet Food & Wine Adventure will take an intimate group of no more than 15 to experience the best of “crush” in Napa.
“Harvest is the best time of the year to visit bountiful Napa Valley,” said Patty Moss, owner of Pack a Fork.
With warm days and cool nights, grapes being harvested and a year’s worth of work coming to fruition, participants will experience the valley at its best. The tour is carefully designed to offer unique, curated experiences, private excursions, specially selected gourmet meals and luxury accommodations.
Local tour guides and chefs will provide participants with behind-the-scenes looks into the harvesting of grapes, the art and science of wine-making and viticulture, olive oil production and the farm-to-table movement.
FULL STOMACHS, SCHEDULES
Participants will cook with a Napa chef, tour the Napa Farmers and Oxbow Markets, take a culinary garden tour, visit an award-winning olive oil farm, taste wine at select wineries, learn how to blend wines and experience food and wine pairings.
